Simon and Erin's Big Day, in Califonia, spells one weeks holiday in the Sun for the rest of us. A few primary discussions, have take place over a jar in the pub, but as yet nothing is set in stone. One thing though is certain. The Ladies, want this thing organised like a military operation, they want the sunshine on their backs, they want to relax and they don't want to slum it. Luckily, they have nothing to fear. Phillis is in charge.

An Idea for Friday Night

The Historic Stockyards. Fort Worth

While trying to avoid Xmas blues, I thought it might be interesting to check out flights to Las Vegas. There are a few direct flights from the UK, but odds are we might need to connect somewhere. Rather than this being a bore, why not make a Friday Night of it.

I've scanned most airlines that fly to Las Vegas, and checked out where they connect. Here is the list.
Newark - Continental
Atlanta - Delta
Charlotte - US Airways
Dallas/Fort Worth - American Airways
Los Angeles - United & British Airways
Minneapolis - North-West Airlines
San Francisco - United
Chicago -American
Washington - United
Chicago & Denver - United
Manchester & Chicago - British Midlands
Toronto - Air Canada.

A few good uns there. Especially, Dallas/Fort Worth (via the Historic Stockyards), Chicago (via Sluggers), Toronto (via Tailgate Charlies), and Newark (via The Ear bar). Also Los Angeles, overland (via Peggy Sue's & The world's biggest Thermometer)) always scores high.
