Simon and Erin's Big Day, in Califonia, spells one weeks holiday in the Sun for the rest of us. A few primary discussions, have take place over a jar in the pub, but as yet nothing is set in stone. One thing though is certain. The Ladies, want this thing organised like a military operation, they want the sunshine on their backs, they want to relax and they don't want to slum it. Luckily, they have nothing to fear. Phillis is in charge.

The "I'M NEARLY FAMOUS" Tour -2005

Seven and a half weeks to go.

Sigh

As time marches on, there is just over 7 weeks until we jet away to the sunshine coast. The flights are booked, confirmed and paid for.

All we need to do now is sit back and relax for a few weeks, as organising the Stag Do takes priority.
STAG DO WEBSITE can be viewed here.

We don't think that it is necessary to worry about booking anywhere to stay until at least early/mid May, (or at least until next payday). Also sorting out a motor (or two) is not urgent at this stage.

Apart from the usual pre-USA diet, there is nothing to do except wait. As least for the next three or four weeks.

The "I'm nearly famous" tour CD is coming on well, so get your requests in now or you'll be stuck with a collection of 70's rock songs.

If anyone is worrying about what to pack clothes wise, remember 5 things.
1. The weather will be hot/very hot and dry. (San Francisco a smidge cooler).
2. Our American friends have no sense of style, so anything goes.
3. The more you pack, the more you need to lug around.
4. Don't forget sun-cream and sun-glasses.
5. There is no shortage of souvenir T-shirts in the States.
GOLDEN RULE. Before placing your clothes in the suitcase/sports bag/tesco's carrier bag, divide them into two piles and put one pile back in your wardrobe.
